Rules

dos and dont's

  • Be careful, be responsible, and do not exceed your own abilities and limitations.
  • All entrants must be experienced at off road events.
  • All entrants must have a working knowledge of basic first aid. You must be able to treat yourself for blisters and sprains on the trail.  
  • All entrants must be at least 18 years old on race day.
  • Participants must be in good health, have trained adequately and be fit enough for their chosen distance.
  • Attendance at the pre-race briefing is mandatory, and a prerequisite to starting the race.
  • Briefings  are mandatory and will be on the day before the race.
  • All cut-off times will be strictly enforced.  Runners must be checked out of the check point before the cut-off time.
  • All entrants must follow the marked course at all times.  No short cuts are to be taken.
  • No litter to be dropped on the course.  Any participants caught littering will be disqualified.
  • You must ensure that your number has been recorded at each CP.

THE BEAUTY - TU50
  • Race number ... must be visible on your front at all times;
  • 1 X Head torch and spare batteries;
  • Rain jacket;
  • Fully charged phone with Thai D-tac SIM card, with emergency numbers saved; 
  • Whistle;
  • Emergency blanket (foil type);
  • Water, at least 2 litres capacity.
THE BEAST - TU100
  • Race number ... must be visible on your front at all times
  • 1 X Head torch and spare batteries, PLUS 1 extra torch
  • Rain jacket
  • Fully charged phone with Thai D-tac SIM card, with emergency numbers saved 
  • Whistle
  • Emergency blanket (foil type)
  • Water, at least 2 litres capacity. 
  • Long pants
  • Thermal top
RECOMMENDED GEAR
  • Small medical kit including elasticated bandage and blister treatment kit
  • Dry bag (to keep  your torch/batteries/and clothes dry)
  • Extra gels/snacks
  • Thermal top - if it is cold you will need one

Most runners will need to carry  more between CP2 and 3.  The distance between CP2 and 3 is 21km, including the longest single climb (633m) of the race.  This could  take 4-5 hours, in 30 degree heat. 

changing distance

Competitors can change distances at any time if space allows;

There will be no refund for decreasing your distance;

The balance must be paid in full if you would like to increase your distance.

If you withdraw after 30 July  .........................             No refund

Entries are not transferrable to another runner.
